The lining is a hot pink, nylon-like, washable material and the sewn-in tags state "Designed exclusively for LANCOME, made in China". It is pretty enough to use as an evening bag but can also be used for jewelry, cosmetics, valuables, etc. Item was a gift so any tags were cut off. Stored in a cool dry place.
