Susan Isaacs follows the great "COMPROMISING POSITIONS" book she wrote, with another winner that follows similar lines. Only in this case it is not middle-America suburban married life that is being examined but poor Marcia and her gaggle of well-meaning relatives. She is introduced to loser after loser until there he is one day. The sexual exploits combine with her amateur snooping to create a funny, intriguing book with characters as well-honed as the plot. Isaacs has a way with words and specializes in dialogue of the funny sort. I again laughed out loud over and over and the characters became almost like the people you meet daily. Good fun can be had by all. Book is in overall good vintage condition, with a tight binding, some spine creasing and a cover crease, no dog-ears, tears or markings. Slight yellowing around the pages which is expected for a book this old. These paperbacks from the 1980s are rare, even hard to find in used bookstores or at products. Great book to add to your Susan Isaacs collection or just because you read it a long time ago and would like to reread it. Stored in a cool, dry place in a smoke-free/pet-free home. Storyline: It was a situation from which half-hour television comedies are made. "Marcia!
