This Serving Fork and Spoon with Wood and Porcelain Buck Deer Painted Handle was purchased as a souvenir at the Milwaukee Zoo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Makes for great Nostalgia and Memorabilia. This vintage serving set has never been used. The 1960s era serving fork and spoon were stored in a drawer all these years and are in great shape considering the age. The wooden portion has been tinted a dark brown color and the spoon shows slight shelf wear on the back which can easily be retouched. The ceramic handles feature a painted stag/buck deer and pine tree fronds and cones. No chips or cracks in the handles themselves. Each utensil measures 11" long. Even if you're not a fan of the Milwaukee Zoo, (it is one of only 2 free zoos left in the entire country) this set is highly collectible. Great for zoo artifact collectors, fans of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Deer/Buck/Stag animal collectors or hand-painted ceramic collectors. Stored in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home.
