This rhinestone jeweled brooch/pin-on jewelry is in the shape of the American Flag and is made of deep red/blue/clear rhinestones on the front and is real silver on the back as evidenced by the slight tarnish starting to appear. I myself do not want to try to clean it lest I damage the pin. The brooch measures 1-1/16" wide X 1-3/16" at deepest point. The brooch is a simple pin-on style in back with a round clasp that secures the pin in place so it does not fall off. The brooch was a gift, never worn or used and comes with the original gift box from a boutique store called "Silver on Oak" on Oak Street in the "Gold Coast" area of Chicago.
